I don’t really like the fact that I am truly an Android user living in an iOS world. For some reason, iPhone/iPod docks are a dime a dozen, but Android docks, who has those?
As it were, I could use some sort of dock for my Android device for playing music, watching videos and so forth. Most iPod docks have better speakers, and who wouldn’t want their tunes and vids played better?
In defense of iPod/iPhone docks, most of them can do Android phones, provided you have aux cables connected through the 3.5mm headphone jack. However, this can drain the battery.
Why not get yourself the DockBoss+ which is good for using the Android phone for an iPhone dock. This adapter cable connects via the Android device’s micro USB as well as the audio jack.
You should be able to get CableJive’s dockBoss+ on the 28th of September for a price of about $30. By the way, it works for more than just Android devices, such as WP7 and Blackberry, for example.
