Fruit Ninja Free available for Android at last

I have tried out Fruit Ninja on the iPhone before, and it is quite addictive.

For those who aren’t familiar with Fruit Ninja, it is a simple game where food gets thrown in the air and the user slices it with a finger swipe across the touchscreen. Points are accrued with each chop, and points go up if you can get multiple fruits with a single swipe.

There are three game modes in single player, and worldwide leaderboards using Openfeint. It also has three gameplay modes, Classic, Zen, and Arcade. There is even a bonus Dojo section for unlockable blades and backgrounds.

This is one of those times where I’m not certain if I can say anything more about Fruit Ninja. At this point, reporting on Fruit Ninja is like reporting on Angry Birds. Chances are, you already know about it.

Now, for all you Android users, you can get it for free here on the Android Market. The paid version costs 1.25 and is available here. For those who have NVIDIA Tegra 2 based Android Devices, you can get Fruit Ninja THD Free here, or the full Fruit Ninja THD for $3.12.
