While I was trying out the X-men game, I had my usual bout with the virtual buttons on my Android device’s touchscreen display. I feel that there are some things that I just feel more comfortable with buttons and sticks, rather than a touchscreen.
Fortunately, Gametel of Sweden has a new accessory for Android powered smartphones that allows the user the opportunity to use the buttons to move and shoot.
Best of all, it can all be done wirelessly. I have a video of it showing how it connects to an Android device via Bluetooth that you can watch here. It will even feature a clamp so you can attach this gaming controller to the device itself. Of course it is limited to a device no larger than 4.2 inches.
The retail price will be about £50, but I don’t have a release date. I do know that it is compatible with 50 games in the Android market at this time.
