Since the Kindle Fire doesn’t seem to come with a drawing application, I was looking at drawing programs on the App store and found Drawing Pad.
The Drawing Pad might be mis-named, as I think of a drawing pad as a small tablet and pen or pencil, like that kid had on Blue’s Clues. I found that Drawing Pad is one of the more advanced applications for drawing that I have ever seen.
Drawing Pad allows the user to select from crayons, markers, paint brushes, colored pencils, roller pens, and even stickers. They come in a variety of colors, and they look very realistic on your choice of paper.
Not only can you save your drawing, you can share it to places like Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Picassa, and other image-sharing sites.
You should be able to get Drawing Pad on the App store for about $1.99 here. I got it for the Kindle Fire for about $0.99, but I don’t know how long that offer will last.
