Instead of poring through full reviews, you can start by looking at what the most frequently mentioned aspects about a place are, such as food, service, atmosphere, or anything else people keep mentioning. Just like on Place Pages for your computer, the color-coded bar gives an overview of how positively people are talking about any individual aspect. Tap one to see more details like the actual review snippets. Whether you’re looking for top-notch service or a vibrant ambiance, you can now pick just the right place to go.
That is great news as the Maps app has helped me find a host of new restaurants in my city. So let us see how the new Maps app improves over the older version.
Review of Places

This feature adds review of places marked as local business. The review is displayed in a comprehensive manner and has a rating along with review excerpts. This helps us quickly select the best hangout for the next night. It also displays the reviewer and the website from which the review is pulled.
Latitude sharing

The next feature to appreciate in the new Maps is the Latitude feature. Latitude now allows us to share our location with friends and arrange meetups easily.
Street View

The third feature that rocks is the very controversial street view. It simply lets you have a panoramic view of the street for any address. This feature helps us visually see the physical location and adds enhanced usability to the Google Maps app.
With all these features, Google Maps is surely the application you would want to have on your phone all the time.
