The web has been completely abuzz since Google chairman Eric Schmidt told an Italian newspaper that “in the next six months we plan to market a tablet of the highest quality”.
Already this has started a rumor about a Nexus Tablet. If the Google phone wasn’t good enough, I guess the tablet will have to do.
You wanted to know what made it even more interesting? Mr. Schmidt also said something about such a device that would be “guaranteed to increase brutal competition between Apple and Google Android”.
I had no idea that the competition between Android and iOS was “brutal”. Some say the quotes might have been the result of a bad translation. I wonder if Google Translate was to blame.
All right, I guess I will wait another six months to see if some Google tablet does rock the world of tablets.
