I’m surprised that Samsung didn’t wait a few more weeks until CES 2012 to announce the Galaxy Y Duos and Galaxy Y Pro Duos, but here it is.

These two phones use two SIM cards, which means that you have access to two different phone numbers, and use data according to your plan. These phones are GSM with the 850/900/1800/1900 MHz bands.

The Duos (both of them) are all-touch Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and they have a 3 Megapixel camera. There are certain differences. The Y Duos has a 1,300 mAh battery and a 3.1 QVGA screen. The Y Pro Duos has a 2.6 inch screen, a QWERTY keyboard, front-facing VGA camera, and a 1,350 mAh battery.

I don’t have a release date for these, but it will first be released in Russia. After that, it will go out in Europe, Africa, CIS, Latin America, Southeast and Southwest Asia, the Middle East, and China.
