Considering that Steven Spielberg is one of the greatest directors of all time, I was surprised he chose to take the helm of what appears to be a franchise-reboot CG film, The Adventures of Tintin.
However, it would appear that the film has been released in Europe, and it is apparently well done. It couldn’t be any worse than the Spielberg/Cruise effort War of the Worlds.
Tintin has now come to Android in the form of a game. The game is a combination of adventure, mystery, action, and puzzle solving all in one, and it comes from the competent gaming/app creators of Gameloft.
The game allows the player to take control of Tintin, as well as his friends Snowy the dog, Captain Haddock, and others. It uses 3D animation and controls are done with finger-swiping.
The The Adventures of Tintin game costs about $6.99, and is available here on the Android Market.
