I realize that there are some people who don’t want anyone to know where they are at, ever. Then there are the people who post their GPS location everywhere that they go, guess which crowd this is for.
This personal GPS tracker allows the user to share a tracking URL with family and friends, and this can URL can be viewed from any web browser at an Internet connected location. The user can share this URL with e-mail, SMS messaging, as well as social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook.
The previous locations are also stored from a GPS tracking program. Another feature of this app is it allows the user to take a photo from their phone and use it as an avatar on the tracking page.
You can get a full version here for about $4.00 for a “reverse geocoding” feature, so an address look-up of your current location. A free version is also available here.
