It is funny what games were cool twenty years ago, and how little you can purchase them for now. Sure, the graphics are very different, but retro is always cool. Last week, we discussed the Android version of Duke Nukem, so why not this classic X-men game?

This X-men has nothing to do with the movie series, but the team vaguely looks like the comic from the eighties, which eventually turned into a popular cartoon in the early nineties. The game follows the popular fads of arcade games of the nineties, with side-scrolling jump and punch moves to get through more levels, each punctuated by a boss.

In this case, the player can portray X-men heroes like Cyclopes, Colossus, Wolverine, Storm, Nightcrawler, and Dazzler, who will probably never be in an X-men movie. As for the villains, it is hundreds of Sentinels along with famed characters like Pyro, The Blob, Wendigo, Nimrod, The White Queen, Juggernaut, Mystique, and Magneto.

For a game that is worth $0.99, it is pretty fun. You can get it on the Android Market here.
